Education Program

Welcome to the Educational area of the website, where you can find out more about our education and outreach programmes. Here you will also find concert programmes, texts and translations and learn more about the music we sing.

  • Community Outreach Program

outreachA part of the Ottawa Bach Choir's mandate is to use its talents to benefit the Ottawa community through local outreach programs by presenting concerts at local elementary and secondary schools and at local seniors' residences. The Choir enjoys these concerts immensely. These and future outreach initiatives are made possible through a generous grant:

“Anonymous Fund, part of the portfolio of the Ottawa Community Foundation”.

  • Programme Notes

programme-notesWant to know more about the music you hear at OBC concerts? Fundamentally concert programmes announce the sequence of the items presented at each concert but we like to strive to educate our audence and concisely inform listeners about the music they are hearing and to assist them in its direct appreciation. Through a combination of both a scholarly and emotional approach to choral music, the Ottawa Bach Choir is pleased to present an archive of concert programmes from past concerts.
