As founder and artistic
director of the Ottawa Bach Choir, I am delighted to
invite you to attend our fifth exciting season.
This outstanding ensemble will treat you to inspired
performances of some of the most beautiful and moving
choral music. Our subscription series includes three
main concerts: A Taste of the Italian Baroque
on November 24, a Canadian premiere of Roxanna
Panufnik's Westminster Mass with the
Montreal ensemble Musica Orbium on March 17, and a European Extravaganza on May 25 to celebrate
the choir's upcoming European tour where they have been
invited to return to sing at the Thomaskirche in
Leipzig (Bach's church),
Bayreuth, Vienna, Salzburg and Munich. To complete the season, a
special Christmas concert will be featured on December
13 to promote our CD, A Christmas Story.
